Palworld, which has become quite a popular survival game in recent days, allows players to catch and breed Pals. Because there are so many pals with different element types, sometimes it is confusing. There are indeed good friends that you should consider catching to maximise the benefits.
If you are new to Palworld, then you might be wondering what the best types of pals are that you can use in the game. While the game does not have dual-type pals, there are some element combinations that you can use to get benefits in the game. Along with some advantages, there are some nifty drawbacks. Today, in this article, we will be sharing a guide on the best type of combination based on rank. Without further ado, let us take a closer look at this.
What are Pal’s elements?
In total, there are 137 pals that are soon to count up to 138, but you aren’t going to utilise each pal every time. But now, there are combinations of emotional pals that you do need so that you can use the stronger pals against the weak pals. There are rank-based elements, which are water, fire, grass, ground, and electricity, which follow weakness and resistance.
Although there are some rare elements like Ice, Dragon, Dark, and Neutral, these are said to be the strongest types of elements. Example: You can use the Fire-type Pals skill, which does double damage against grass-type Pals. In contrast, the Water-Pals are only able to damage half of the incoming fire-type attack.
Best Pal combinations based on rank.
Below we have some of the strongest type combinations, which will be dealing extra damage against their opponents.
Pure Dragon Type
These types of pals are quite common, having different type-element alignments. Since they are not rare, you will not have trouble funding these pals. Just head over to the late or endgame areas of the map to find these pals. To catch these pals, you need to visit the ICE Skill, which is entirely resistant to Dark-Type skills. The Pals, which are categorised as pure dragon types, are Elphidran, Quivern, and Jetragon.
Dark and Dragon Types
The first-dual type has two different elements that are quite rare; only the Astegon is categorised as the Dark and Dragon type pals. Players mostly encounter these pals pretty late in the game. The good thing is that these pals are weak against ice but resist the dark. Only the Dark-Type Pals are weak against the Dark and Dragon-Type Pals, which nullifies the Dragon-Type weakness.
Pure fire type
These are common fire-type pals, which come with the highest number of pal elements that are resistant compared to any other element. Pure Fire Type Pals can handle the resistance against the 62 Pals in the game, which is a massive number. The primary reason to use Pure Fire Type Pals is because of their defence capabilities and since they are considered to have attacks that can cause serious damage to wooden structures.
Pure Dark Type
These pals are weak against the dragon type; in total, there are 26 different pals with dark elemental typing; only 14 pals in total are dragon-type pals. The lowest elementals do represent the Electric type with over eleven pals: these tie for the second lowest with the ground type. However, there are a lot of moves that pals can begin with or that people tend to prefer are neutral-type moves, which means that’s even more of an advance on the pure dark-type pals.
Pure Ice Type
The frozen status is pretty common. It separates itself from a lot of other creature collections, but it does not have turn-based combat. Different pals do seem to have different speeds that are said to be different speeds that pals use for their attacks. While catching them, do remember that they will attack you as soon as possible as they can. On the counter, you can attack in chains without being interrupted. They learn a few Ice-Type skills while levelling up in the game.
Pure eclectic type
It is good for offence in Palworld. Generally, the shocked effect causes Pals to suffer from electric shock, which seems to occur more often than freezing. This also means that players can constantly slow down the enemy by using an electric-type attack. In total, there are eleven pals that have this type of element.
Water and Ice Types
As we have mentioned before, there are only a few dual-type pals, with only 25 of the total pals having dual-type, and among the 25 there are only 2 that have both water-type and Ice-type pals. Look for the pengullet and penking.
Fire and Dragon Types
These are the pals that are overall the best overall. You can begin with the Jormuntide Ignis, which has both Fire-Type Pals and Dragon-Type Pals. It resists grass type and dark type, which do not have weaknesses, but it deals with extreme danger. It is well-effective, both offensively and defensively.
