Dive into Palworld’s prime base spots for abundant resources & seamless progress.
The Best Base Location in Palworld
Before building your base, you have to choose a location. There are tonnes of different places on the map. As far as I have played Palworld, I do recommend the top 5 base locations, where you can get access to a wide array of resources, which include coal, ore, sulphur, and even civilization. But it should also be ideal, protecting your resources and helping you develop your progress properly.

These bases help keep your production line safe, farm for resources with ease, and have many similar rooms to grow in and expand your little home. After reaching Level 7, you can choose to build a logging site and a stone pit for collecting wood and stones that don’t naturally spawn in the base.
Further, when you reach Level 8, you can then turn stones into palladium fragments. Not to mention, there isn’t any bad place to deploy your base in the Palworld; however, there are different levels of challenges than in other countries.
What should I consider before deploying to the base location
Before deploying your base, ensure you have as many harvestable resources as possible near your base. Some of the important resources are stone, wood, ores, and palladium rocks. This is because if these resources are within the radius, then it will be easier to harvest them.
It’s important that you setup your base at the best location possible, but if you think you don’t have the best location for your base, then you don’t have to worry either. But there are a few things that you need to avoid.
- You can’t build your base on water.
- You can’t build your base around the ruins and other landscapes.
- Close proximity to ore deposits, flat, empty territory, and mild weather, and should be on the higher ground for an advantage with fewer access points.
- You can only build your base in a flat space, so you may need to avoid a drastic change in elevation.
While exploring or searching for the location of the base, you will hunt for different pals to catch. In addition to this, consider the base as your location for rest and recuperation, the bases, and the structures that you can build. You can definitely ramp up your resource production and crafting through different top-tiers with high work skill levels and desirable traits.
In addition to this, you have to build a defensive base, which is an important part of Palworld. While building your base, you have multiple personalisation options, which is what I recommend the most.
- You should be keeping your base organised, like building your workbench on one side.
- Keep your chest near the production structure since it takes the shortest route to storage and will store the resource that is produced in the chest next to it for better efficiency, and your things will remain well-organised.
- Don’t make the layout overly complex and put walls anywhere other than around your base’s perimeter.
- Place the defence up high and overlook as much as possible.
- You can upgrade to stone (and then metal) fortifications as soon as you can.
After building the base, you want to have pals on your base, for which there are good pals to choose, which include the lamball, cattiva, lambmunk, Foxparks, pengullet, and Tanzee.
