If you have caught news pals and have checked the pal’s moves, which is known as active skills. Players can check the Pal’s Active Skills on the Pal’s Page in the Party tab or the Paldeck. When you catch the new pals having the same strong moves or other pals’ active skills, which sometimes may not be beneficial for attack.
Pal has diverse move set mechanics for which you can take your chill. When players prepare for the boss fight or syndicate to, swap your pal’s active skill for the skill of the right element type to defeat the boss. Today in this article, we will be sharing a guide on how you can teach your pal some new moves. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at this.
What is a Pals Skill?
This is one of the most essential mechanics that you will encounter in Palworld, and it is virtually impossible to accomplish without some Pal assistance. Every pal in the game has at least one skill that you can capture from a few different pals, which are disposal skills that are useful in many different situations.
As the game progresses, your pals will also level up, but you will also be able to teach your pals some new skills to enhance the gaming experience. Before going further, you need to know the skill type. It’s a pal combat or activity skill that is categorised based on element type. Another thing is that the pals are divided into three different skills, which include partner, active, and passive.
If players want pals to learn more skills, then you can equip them all at one time. You can also swap out any of their active skills. For selecting the Active Skill, simply head over to the Pal Menu in the Party Tab, then select the Active Skill to replace from the menu bar on the left side of the screen. From the Party Tab, you will see the list of Pal’s Moves, and by simply selecting the Move, you can swipe with the active Pals.
How to teach Pals new moves in Palworld
Pals can’t learn new passive or partner skills, but they can learn new active skills. There are two primary ways in which Pals can learn new moves. By using either Skill Fruits or Leveling Up. This is an automatic process, along with gaining experience on your adventures. Over time, your pals will level up and learn new active skills. Every time your pals unlock new levels and learn new skills, players will get notified on the left side. Pals don’t get to level up every time you hit a new level; instead, new active skills get unlocked when you hit certain level milestones.
Which helps your pal reach new levels whenever your pal reaches new levels. If pals already have three active skills, players do need to switch the pal’s skill around manually. Although this method takes a lot of time, when it comes to teaching your pals new pals, players need to find the skill fruit, which is located on a special tree across the map. However, these skill fruits are pretty rare to find, and they only spawn three skill fruits each.
How to Find and Use the Skill Fruits to Teach Pals New Moves in Palworld
Skill fruits are fruits that players can use to feed their pals new abilities. Similar to Active Pal, Skills are divided into Element Types, and each element has a corresponding skill fruit that you can use to feed your pals. Once you find the Skill Fruit Tree, pick the three fruits from the handing branches. Among the three fruits, each fruit has different types containing specific active skills. After you pick the Skill Fruits from the tree, they are stored in the inventory, where you can use them by right-clicking on the Fruits and then using the Skill Fruits to teach your pal a skill.
Players can identify the skill fruits as they glow blue and can be harvested from these trees, and they regrow as time progresses. There are some exceptions to this: pals with the same fruits as the pals have failed to learn the active skill. However, in the majority of cases, your pals do learn some moves from the skill fruits. If you didn’t find the Skill Fruits on the tree, then you can also purchase the Skill Fruits through Merchanges, which cost from 3,000 to 5,000 gold, depending on the rarity of the Skill Fruits.
I strongly recommend players teach their pals active skills that share the same typing as them, but there are also some instances in which you may want your pals to learn some active skills with different typing. However, it all depends on your situation. But before teaching your pal an action skill through skill fruit, simply hover over it to check what attack it will learn.
When you open the inventory for the fruit, it pops up. Players can view the active skill it contains and the power of it. Once you have the ability to teach the skill to your pals, simply click on the pal’s name after choosing the specific skill fruit that you want to use. Now the pals also know the active skill, which can be acquired from skill fruits.
If your friends already have the Three Skills, you can go in and then manually set the New Skill for yourself. These skill fruits are usually found in tough-to-reach locations, so you have to ensure the map of Palworld is to ensure your pals have access to the best move possible. You need to note that not all skill types can be taught, as some skill types are randomly generated when the pals are sucked into the World File.
