Palworld, which is one of the most popular open-world survival games, revolves around the Pals and the resources for survival. The pals in the game are valuable assets alongside crafting, gathering resources, harvesting, and such. There are some cute pals; you can collect them, and you can also pet those pals.

So if you are one of those who want to pet the pals to show your love and scritches before you assign some task to your pals, this is indeed quite easy, but not everyone seems to know about petting the pals. For some reason, many don’t know about petting the pals, and it does not automatically promote players through the radial menu to pet the pal either. Because of the lack of tutorials and the direct indication to pet, a lot of players have not known about this so far. For me, the smile it shows when I pet the pals is the only benefit I see for these loyal critters, but it also motivates me to further explore the map to get more pals to pet. By petting your pals, you can also increase the pal’s sanity; however, for increasing the sanity level, there are other ways to do it. If you see your pal’s sanity going low, then petting them; will cheer them up. This gives your pals some well-deserved pets, and they will be grateful for the love they want from their master.

While the Wild Pals can’t be used to pet, once you catch them or work in your base, they can only be petted. For example, the pals that you have can be used to feed it directly, view its details, and also add it right to your party. How to Pet Your Pals in Palworld

Work on every pal; it could be either pals roaming around the map or pals from your party working in your base. Here’s how you can put your pals: follow the following instructions mentioned below.

For patting your pals, you need to have pals in the party, or pals who are working in your base. It’s quite easy to pet any of your pals through a Pal wheel and hover over the Pet Option to show some affection to your pals.

1. Press the 4 key on your PC or simply use the analog stick on your Xbox to open this menu.
   1. This menu is useful for many things, including pets. Within this menu, you also have the option to feed the pets or use commands.
2. From that menu, all you have to do is select the pet option.

After clicking on the Pet option, you will see your character drop to the knees and give your pal some love. The character will start to pat its heat. When you pet your pals, it will show a big happy face, but also their sanity meter will go up exactly by one point.

But also, players can choose to have Summoned Pals in their party via the same menu in the game. Simply press the E key to summon your chosen pals from your party. 

This is the only way in which you can put your pals in the game. In addition to this menu, you also have the option to command them not to attack, attack aggressively, or focus on the same enemy that you are fighting. It gives players an advantage to be useful in combat, especially for weakening the players but not killing them, so you can easily catch these pals.
