How To Get Back Onto The Map If You Get Stuck Under The Map in Palworld

Palworld, which has become one of the most popular games despite being in early beta access, has a lot of issues and bugs that are common. Developers have released multiple patch updates to resolve issues and optimize the game to further improve it. Since the launch of the game, it has been surrounded by several celebrities.

To get into the map again, it’s quite straightforward. Some players have shared a few workarounds, and I will be sharing two of my favorite ways to get back onto the map after getting stuck. Today in this article, we will be sharing how players can get unstuck from the terrain in Palworld. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at this.

Why I got stuck on the Map of the Palworld?

There are various reasons, but one of the most common is that on the map, there are certain areas in which players fall. In these parts, the map doesn’t seem to have collision science, and because of this, players don’t get stuck. The collision science code prevents players from passing the element in the game, or some other conditions also cause the collision to break.

Sometimes, because the game does not render the full map, there’s texture and collision data, which also causes this issue. In addition, the inaccuracies in the physical calculation also cause players to fall through solid ground.  Collision is essential so that players don’t fall through the floor and are not allowed to walk through every wall and object in the game.

How can players unstuck from Terrain in Palworld?

This is a very common issue in which some pressing in-game technical issues occur when players go for exploration and climb around the world. However, sometimes when players climb into the world of geometry, they get stuck in this geometry. Sometimes, due to a technical issue, when you load the game with the last session on Cliff and when loaded back, players get inside the said cliff.

So for some reason, if you get stuck under the map, all you have to do is use the respawn mechanics in the pause menu. Before you use the Respawn Mechanic, below we will be sharing a few workarounds.

  1. Open the settings.
  2. From there, select Respawn.

From there, it will show the protagonist telling you that you are essentially killing your character. After you get killed, your players will then respawn, and you will lose the dropped items or pals upon death. To avoid items losing their value, here are some workarounds that you can do before regaining them.

  1. Starting with the existing game, you can try re-entering the game.

Through this, you can potentially unstuck without having to respawn, but if this doesn’t work, then you have to follow Method 1. While doing this, ensure you go back to the WORD Settings and disable the death penalty. After disabling the death penalty, you can load the game again to respawn in the game.

Alternatively, players can also look for the surface area of the water that bleeds through some rocks that are close to the low-level ocean in which they are swimming. By swimming in the low seas of water, they are most likely to be teleported up into them. Most likely, the game will automatically force players to be on the highest level of the water, and since it is also moving over to the higher body, that will further cause the game to tramp the players.

If this troubleshooting isn’t helping you, then players can also choose to fast-travel to a different location, save the game, and restart, and they can also use the Flushing Pals to traverse areas where the issue might occur. This is why there is an ocean under the map since the gamevv is still in development and they are likely to be aware of it. While we don’t know the specific reason, this could be one of the potential reasons for having an ocean under the island.

Indeed, players’ characters will die and respawn from one of the predetermined spots. After getting respawned, you can enable the death penalty. I do recommend players leave the game as soon as they get stuck, or they can also change the world to get back onto the map if they get stuck under the map. From now on, keep an eye out for the tricky rocks around the map to avoid getting stuck in it again. PocketPair, the developer of Palworld, is continuously patching the game to optimize it and improve it ahead of its stable release at the end of this year.
