Palworld is among the most popular open-world survival games in which players need to farm many things, like wheat, and items like wood, ore, seeds, and other natural resources, to survive in the game. Among them, mushroom resources can be used for many things.
Things are among the essential resources that players can farm to later use for crafting essential items. Players can use mushrooms for both pals and players to feed. However, mushrooms can be farmed like tomatoes, berries, and wheat. To get mushrooms, players need to collect them from the map. Today in this article, I will be sharing a guide on how you can farm these mushrooms. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at this.
What are mushrooms in the Palworld?
This is a food that players can cook, collect, and use in the game. It is one of the essential ingredients in the game that can be used to make filling meals like mushroom soup, grilled mushrooms, and such. Feeding mushrooms to pals in the game does increase the efficiency of the pals on base, which keeps the character full while exploring the map. Indeed, mushrooms can also be found on the island, but not quite easily; it’s a bit difficult and not very common to get hands-on with mushrooms in the game. I primarily use the mushroom for improving defense by +10% for a short period.
How to Farm Mushrooms in Palworld
Players can also choose to farm mushrooms by moving between the Desolate Church and the Small Settlement. In these locations, I found Mushrooms to spawn many times. To get the mushroom from the desolate mushroom, simply head over to the travel point at 75, -407 coordinates. Apart from this coordination, do consider checking out (90, 495), (92, 394), and (13, 378), which are the small settlements.
How to Find Mushrooms in the Forest
Further, players can also find these mushrooms in the forest, especially behind the church. These mushrooms appear to be red and orange in color tree, under the tree you have a Mushroom that you can plug. I have found about 50 to 60 mushrooms at a time under the tree within the red area. In addition to this, players can also get mushrooms by defecating certain pals in the game.
How to Collect Mushrooms from Pals
If you don’t want to look for mushrooms and collect them, then you can look for certain pals who drop mushrooms. In the game, there are a total of 4 pals. Here are the pals that you have to look for:
- Lavender: You can find these pals across the Northeast island in the Dessicated Desert.
- Mossanda: These pals generally appear in the Verdant Brook.
- Mossanda Lux: These are alpha pals that appear on Marsh Island, located on the southeast side of the verdant Brook.
- Tanzee: These generally appear in the window.
In my gameplay, I have found that the Tanzee is the best pal that can be used to get mushrooms. While the Mossanda and the Mossanda Lux are also quite good at getting mushrooms, they generally drop the leather and the tomato seeds. Do look for these pals while exploring the map, and defeat them or capture them with the capture pods.
How to Assign Pals to Collect the Mushroom
You can simply assign your pals to collect mushrooms from the map. For this players need to set up the base at the base near the Church. Once set up assign your pals to collect the mushroom. For this, players require a pal with a gathering skill to work in the base. They will continue collecting by going through these surroundings.
How to use the mushroom in the game
Players can use the Mushroom in a wide variety of recipes in the game. With this players can also use it to heal the pals or your character. Players need to keep looking for the pals who drop the mushrooms and the mushrooms across the map to have a continuous supply of mushrooms.

I would recommend players look for a long-term, passive solution that captures mushroom-dropping pals, which is a good option.
