How To Edit Palworld Server Settings Config

If you own Palworld’s dedicated server, then you might be wondering about the configuration file for your server. There are several reasons why you might want to edit your INI configuration, especially for fine-tuning to enhance the experience. You can easily access the Palworld Server Settings and alter the INI configuration files to change the settings of your designated server settings.

The game is still in the early development phase, which means there could be some changes, so some settings and syntax could be released with updates. What is the Palworld Configuration File?

This is one of the most popular dedicated servers INI config files, and the files use a key-value pair structure with keys in square brackets. While the values do correspond to various server parameters, here is how the PalworldSetting.ini looks.

Where can I find the Palworld Server INI configuration files?

You can find the Palworld Server Settings/Congi.ini files by heading over to Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini. In this file, you will find the default server settings. However, if you have been trying to access the PalworldServer INI on your PC since you are playing games on the private server, it only supports Steam.

By heading over to PalworldSettings.ini, you can navigate to This PC > Local Disc > Programme Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > Common > PalServer > Pal > Saved > Config > WindowsServer. When you are on the Windows Server page, open Code Editor (Windows Notepad or NotePad++) to start changing the parameters.

Palworld Private Server INI Files

After deploying your Palworld server, you will find this file is empty because it is set as default. Simply add the parameters that you want to change in the Palworld Server experience. Do not edit the default Server Settings INI Files; simply navigate to This PC > Local Disc > Programme Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > Common > PalServer.

How to Edit Palworld Server Settings
