How To Defend Paworld Base From Raids

Palworld is all about capturing and combating with pals. When starting the game, you are going to build your base, where you keep your resources, pals, and items, along with other important tasks. However, there is always a risk of getting destroyed after a raid. However, there are several ways to defend your Palworld base from raids. Today in this article, I will be sharing a guide on how you can defend. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at this.

How to defend Palworld Base from raids and attacks in Palworld

Like any other open-world survival game, the base remains vulnerable to raids or attacks. I first experienced the raid, which destroyed all my wealth because of the exploding Toctocos. To make your base safe and to keep the base protected here are the instructions that you can follow.

Most of the players think that if their base is built out of stone and rocks, it will be protected and it will be difficult to destroy their base. But the powerful pals can easily destroy your pals, including the Palbox, by getting destroyed.

Players can protect their base from outsider attacks randomly. Players can also choose to begin the Pal raid, for which you do need to craft the Summoning Altar. By having the altar on your base, the Raid Pals will be destroyed if it is made out of cardboard.

Normally, when you progress, you will have multiple bases; in total, you can have three bases. On the base, you should consider placing the summoning altar on whatever base you don’t mind having some damage to.

Increase the pal count on the base.

This is the best way to keep your base safe from any kind of raid. Do collect pals and keep them on your base so they can combat any upcoming raid. To increase the number of Worker pals that you can use on your base with these instructions.

  • Before entering the world, click on the world.
  • From here, head over to Change World Settings, then click on Custom Settings.
  • Next, use the slider to maximize your Pal Working at base settings up to 20%.

Not to mention, you should consider keeping your strongest friends at your base so they can combat an upcoming raid.

Use the Rocket Launcher

Similar to the traps around your base, players also have the Rocket Launcher, which unlocks at Level 49 of the Technology Tree. To craft the Rocket Launcher, you need a few resources, which include x75 Pal Metal Ingot, x30 Polymer, and x50 Carbon.

Place some traps around your base.

After reaching Level 4 in the technology tree, the player unlocks the hanging trap. Further, there will be more traps that will be unlocked as you progress. After getting the hanging traps players can use them to place them on the base. This will work as an extra layer of protection.

As you progress, players get access to more traps, like the Small and Large Bear Traps at Level 10 and Level 22, respectively. To keep your base safe, players can choose to surround the base with traps. In addition to this, the mounted machine gun, which is located at Level 40 at Technology Point, is the highest level of protection that you can deploy, and with this, it will show down all enemies alongside you.

Use an alarm bell.

Traps are going to work as they should, but having an alarm system that helps you know about the raid is more beneficial. This can be unlocked at the Level 4 Technology Tree; after unlocking, players need to craft the Alarm Bell, which requires 20 Stones and the 5 Palladium Fragment. It not only alerts you, but it also helps avoid any surprise attacks. Do consider placing an alarm bell.

Pause the world.

If your base has been attacked and you are not able to handle the attack to defend your Palworld base, then I would recommend players pause the game and then return to the world. Here are instructions on how you can pause the game and then start it again.

  • Players need to open the Palworld menu screen.
  • From there, pause the game.

When you want to start the game again, open the Palworld menu from here and simply click on Start Game to begin playing. When you return to the game after a short pause, your base will no longer have any ongoing raids. However, during the initial time, your friends are most likely to appear a bit strange as they are loading, but it will get better over time and you will have to start over.

Disable Raids

If there are no words for you, players can also disable raids in the game in Palworld. If players don’t want anyone to raid, simply display it in the in-game settings with these instructions.

  1. Start with Opening the World Settings.
  2. From there, look for the raids. Simply toggle to disable the raids in the game.

This way, players can choose to define their Palworld base in the game.
