If you are looking to play one of the most popular open-world survival games, Palworld, on your ROG Ally but are having performance issues. Today in this article, I will be sharing what the best Palworld ROG Ally Graphics settings are. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at this.

Can I play Palworld on my ROG Ally?

ROG Ally does support Palworld out of the box, but it does not have the best graphics performance. All you need to know is to simply adjust the graphics settings. I tried playing the game for several hours, but I didn’t have a good experience.

If you play the game on default settings, then you may have difficulty running the game and face major performance issues, including freezing and shuttering. You can make several adjustments to both the device and the in-game settings to have a great experience. Based on my experience, I will be sharing where you can find these settings for an optimal experience.

The Best ROG Ally Settings for Palworld

This device runs on Windows 11 alongside the game software for running ROG Ally for an efficient experience. Before making these changes, quit the app from the background and then make the changes. Here are the instructions mentioned below.

Adjust the ROG Ally resolution

Start by changing the ROG ally resolution from 1920 x 1080 (recommended) to 1280 x 720. Check out the following guide.

1. Start by tapping on the Windows icon on the taskbar.
2. Then head over to the Gear icon, which will open Settings.
3. Next, you can go to the System tab and then tap on Display Resolution.
4. After this, you have to use the drop-down bar to change the resolution to the lowest option on the scale, 1280 x 720.

Once you make the change to the display resolution, which will change the size of the text, append other items.

Now change the ROG Ally Settings menu.

These changes will ensure the game runs at optimal performance and allow players to enhance the gaming experience.

1. First things first, you have to open the armory crate.
2. Then you have to head over to the Settings tab, which appears at the top.
3. Next, go to the Operating Mode tab, and then scroll down to GPU Settings from the left sidebar, which is the 4th
4. Now look at the Memory Assigned to GPU that appears in the upper-right corner of the screen drop-down bar to set the Memory Assigned to GPU to 6G if it isn’t set to this already.
5. Now select Restart Now to save these settings.

Once your ROG ally restarts, you have to make changes to the memory assigned to the GPU that weren’t there before. Now you need to change the power. Here’s how you can make changes.

1. Now you have to open the armory cage, and then you have to head over to the Settings tab, which appears in the upper-right corner.
2. Next, you have to click on the Command Centre button on the left side of the screen.
3. From there, you have to change the operating mode to 25W Turbo if the TDP isn’t set by default.

After changing the ROG Ally settings to make changes, now you need to make the Palworld Graphics settings. Here’s what you have to change.

1. Start by launching Palworld, then head over to the world that you want to play.
2. Next, press the menu button on the right side of the screen.
3. Go to the Options tab by using the LB or RB menu.

Indeed, the ROG Ally hardware is super powerful in a combat setting, but if you keep the graphics settings high, it’s going to take up a lot of resources. PocketPair hasn’t optimized the game, especially for these combat devices. The Palworld, which you’re going to run, is the same version that is available on PC.

You may prefer different settings while playing Palworld on ROG Ally, although if you are looking for the smoothest playing experience with a higher FPS, then the settings we share would be beneficial instead of continuing to play the game on the default settings. Furthermore, I also recommend players adjust the FoV; for me, it’s 85 FoV.
