However, with the recent update of Palworld in April 2024, the Pals get stuck during various tasks. After an update, if you are one of those who may have experienced the pals getting stuck and some bad attitudes.
It is indeed an issue. PocketPair acknowledges this issue and has been actively working on improvements. Today in this article, we will be sharing how to fix the Pal stuck. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at this.
What I do when Pals are upset and Slacking-Off and unwilling to do tasks
There are many things that you can do, starting with moving your pallets to your pallet.
- Open Palbox, then move the Pals out of the Pal List and into Palbox.
- Next, you need to move back.
After doing this, your pals will start working, but also by constructing the roof over the chopping tree workstation to help avoid getting stuck. Ensuring you build the stairs leading down from the roof, indeed by the woodworking station, followed by placing a silo underneath.
Swapping the Worker Pals for Random Pals in Palworld
This is another workaround; swapping the worker Pals for a random one and then immediately switching back essentially replicates the “reset” function of the Palbox. Players effectively reset their positions and get them unstuck. Indeed, this also makes it a great strategy for managing your pals in the game.
Clear a tree at your base.
The base design is the most important thing for preventing people from getting stuck and causing chaos. I advise players to do good practice by designing their bases with efficiency and movement in mind. Place the boxes at opposite ends of the base, which is also a smart move as it prevents crowding and ensures smooth movement of pallets.
If your pals are still getting stuck, then consider clearing all the trees near the base, and then put foundations or items over their spawn point. Players don’t require a tree on your pals; simply use a logging site if you require wood.
After clearing the tree, you do need to assign the pals to your work; this will help the player’s pals get stuck. Now you can ensure that your pals will not be stuck managing multiple pals. In addition to this, you also have to ensure your buildings are high enough. Do use at least two walls high.
Manage the sanity of your pals
Hot tubs are essential for SAN management in your base, which indeed helps recover the Pal’s SAN. Players may observe that some with low SAN might not go to the hot tub on their own. Do manually pick them up and throw them into the hot tub on their own. The hot relaxing soak helps with de-stressing and improves overall mood.
Place the hot tub in your base, and avoid placing the hot tub close to the wall or furniture because it can block the path. By having multiple hot tubs for your friends, you can prevent congestion.
By sharing the workload among multiple pals, we can help manage the SAN level. Since pals are consistently showing low SAN, they are indeed overworked, so either reduce the workload and give them time to rest and recover.
Not to mention, maintaining the patient’s sanity and hunger helps prevent them from getting sick. In case your pals get sick, use medicine to treat them. Remember, your friends won’t get sick randomly.
Place a Bed for Working Pals
Each pal requires a bed to ensure that pals have a place to rest and recover after a day’s work to further improve their game’s productivity and pal’s happiness. It may sound simple, but it’s a crucial but often overlooked aspect of Palworld.
Use Less Giant Pals to assign tasks.
One of the basic things to remember is that whenever the Giant Pals are assigned to any task, you may encounter them getting stuck. It’s obvious that giant pals work more efficiently for a task, but if you’re using a lot of them, do consider not using too many giant pals. Using many would lead to getting stuck or blocking the way for other friends. Not only that, but your friends might also have some trouble accessing food or hot tubs due to their size.
Lastly, the developer of Palworld has already started working on fixing several critical bugs with the upcoming patch. In addition to this, Palworld has also confirmed new features like PvP battles, cross-platform gameplay between Xbox and Steam, and other improvements with the summer update. Furthermore, Studio did invite players to test new features through the Closed Testing Programme to gather feedback for future content.
