Palworld fans have a lot to look forward to with the game’s next major update coming this summer 2024. Developer Pocketpair has revealed that four brand new Pals will be added to the creature collection survival game.
The first new addition is an amphibious fighter – a frog-like creature wielding a stick and wearing a martial arts gi. With its toad anatomy and implied combat skills, this Pal could make for a formidable battler.
Next up is an ostrich-inspired Pal that seems built for earth-based attacks. Described as similar to Pokemon’s Espartha, this flightless avian appears primed to dish out some powerful ground moves.
The third revealed Pal is a martial arts master taking the form of an anthropomorphized hare or dog-like being. Depicted floating in a meditative pose, this fightin’ furball likely packs a punchy moveset.
Rounding out the new crew is an eccentric mushroom-headed dinosaur kin to the game’s lovable Relaxaurus. This goofy fungi fighter’s abilities are still under wraps, but it’s sure to be a fun and funky addition.
In addition to the new Pals, the summer update will introduce a new Japanese-inspired island for players to explore, complete with cherry blossoms and eastern shrines. **New weapons and possibly even a fresh tower boss battle are also teased.**
With the recent release of the challenging Bellanoir raid and PVP arenas on the horizon, Palworld’s world continues to rapidly expand with awesome new content. These four quirky Pals will doubtlessly shake things up in amusing ways when they arrive in the summer 2024 update.
